When Sarah was about 5, she asked to be baptized. Daniel asked her about her faith and she articulated very well for a child so young. However, we felt she wasn't ready so we decided to wait a little while for her baptism. Then, Scott preached a sermon that was so timely. He encouraged parents to baptize their children as soon as they professed their faith, even if they are young. I remember him saying, "What if they later think they weren't ready? Well, then... they just got wet!" His point was the scripture says you should be baptized as soon as possible after coming to Christ. A young child can come to Christ, so a young child can certainly be baptized. I am so thankful for the way the Lord is leading your family! Awesome news! I love this, Matthew!
